Bihar e-Labharthi Pension e-KYC 2025: Check Payment Status & Online Verification

The Government of Bihar has released the official notification for the mandatory Annual Life Certificate (e-KYC) verification for all beneficiaries of state social security pension schemes. Pensioners under Old Age, Widow, and Disability schemes must complete this process to ensure uninterrupted monthly pension transfers via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The deadline has been extended to allow all beneficiaries to complete their biometric authentication at nearby Common Service Centers (CSC) or Block offices.

  • Aadhaar Card: Mandatory for biometric verification.

How to Check e-KYC & Payment Status

Beneficiaries can verify their current status through the official e-Labharthi portal:

  1. Visit the official website: elabharthi.bih.nic.in.
  2. Click on the “Payment Report” tab in the main menu.
  3. Select “Check Beneficiary/Payment Status”.
  4. Choose the Financial Year (2025-26).
  5. Enter your Beneficiary ID, Aadhaar Number, or Account Number.
  6. Click “Search” to view your KYC status and recent payment history.

Verification Process (e-KYC)

The e-KYC process is primarily biometric-based to prevent fraud. It can be completed via:

  • Common Service Centers (CSC): Visit your nearest CSC (Vasudha Kendra) with your Aadhaar card for fingerprint authentication.
  • Block Office: Visit the Social Welfare department at your local Block office.

Note: If the e-KYC is not completed by the deadline, pension payments may be temporarily put on hold until verification is successful.
